The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Monmouth County (LWV Monmouth or The League) is available to aid the public in voting and casting an educated vote. The League is available to host municipal and school board election forums for the November 4, 2025, election. Today more than ever, it behooves citizens to participate in their local government by exercising their right to vote. Just as important as voting is casting an educated vote. Knowing the candidates and their policies is important to making an informed vote.
The League offers forums conducted virtually on its Zoom webinar platform, which accommodates a live audience of up to 500 and utilizes professionally trained moderators who have no connection to candidates or the towns of elections. Our members curate questions to cover every salient point and issue harvested from local residents. We screen out divisive questions or personal attacks to maintain a civil and decorous program.
The League can provide the forum through a sponsor, such as a civic association or PTA, for a nominal fee or directly with candidates who will equally share in the modest cost. People who register for the virtual forum can view it in real time. A link to the LWV Monmouth website will be made available directly after the forum with a recording of the program for further distribution.
