Scott Galkin Speaks In Little Silver School Board Race
As of 9:40 p.m., all machine votes have now been counted in the Little Silver 2024 school board race.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — As of 9:40 p.m., all machine votes have now been counted in the Little Silver 2024 school board race, and here are the results Tuesday night from the county clerk:
(Voters were asked to choose two)
- Alicia Aninowsky, current BOE president: 1,676
- Kathryn Galbavy, currently on the school board: 1,688
- Scott Galkin: 1,576
"The race was incredibly close, with me finishing just 100 votes behind two incumbents who ran as a duo against me, even appearing together on campaign signs. With me getting over 1,500 votes, it’s clear that many in our town are seeking change and aren’t satisfied with the status quo," said Galkin Tuesday night. "This level of support speaks volumes about the desire for a more open, transparent, and responsive Board of Education. Thank you to everyone who supported me — your voices were heard, and together, we’re making an impact."
