Oceanport Schools, Shore Regional Closed Monday and Tuesday
Officials are waiting to make the call whether to close beyond Tuesday.
Oceanport School District and Shore Regional High School have announced closings on Monday and Tuesday due to the anticipated severe weather associated with Hurricane Sandy.
Oceanport Superintendent of Schools Andrew Orefice issued a message that "impending storm projections" led him to close the district Oct. 29 and Oct. 30.
Shore Regional posted a message on the high school's Web site that the building would also close Monday and Tuesday due to the storm.

"Another message will be communicated to you on Tuesday to discuss the potential of closing school beyond Tuesday," said Orefice.
