Hundreds of Long Branch and Monmouth Beach residents are without power on Saturday, one of the hottest days of the year. Jersey Central Power &amp; Light (JCP&amp;L) is reporting that 622 Long Branch residents and 522 Monmouth Beach residents are currently without power. The immediate cause of the outage is unknown, but a cooling center is opening at the Monmouth Beach Library, according to emergency communications. Temperatures are expected to hover around 100 degrees on Saturday with a 73 degrees tonight.
