Monmouth County Man Dies In Thanksgiving Eve Crash, Police Say
An early morning motor vehicle crash Wednesday in Tinton Falls resulted in the death of a Long Branch man, authorities said.
TINTON FALLS, NJ - An early morning motor vehicle crash Wednesday in Tinton Falls resulted in the death of a Long Branch man, authorities said.
The victim, a 37-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene, Tinton Falls police said in a statement. The man’s identity was not immediately released by police.
The crash took place near the intersection of Asbury Avenue and Shafto Road at about 2 a.m., police said. The man appeared to be the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash, police added.

It was not immediately clear how the crash occurred or if another vehicle was involved.
