NJ Repertory and CPC Behavioral Healthcare Receive Grants

Two local non-profits received $30,000 in grants from The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey this week.

New Jersey Repertory Company, 179 Broadway, Long Branch, received a general operating support grant of $10,000 to fund its arts program.

CPC Behavioral Healthcare, 10 Industrial Way East, Eatontown, received a grant of $20,000 to support the Art Therapist for the Circle of Friends Children’s Program. The program provides creative arts therapy to children suffering from mental and behavioral disorders.

“The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey supports New Jersey non-profit organizations that improve the quality of life in our state,” Horizon Chairman & CEO and Foundation Board Chairman Robert A. Marino said in a release. “The approved grants will help to address important public health issues while also supporting programs that provide New Jersey residents with artistic and cultural enrichment.” 

Forty-nine non-profits received $939,000 during the fourth round of 2012 grants. Since January 2012, the Foundation has awarded more than $6.7 million in grants to 128 organizations.
