NJ Transit To Offer Summer Weekend Rail Service To Monmouth Park Racetrack

NJ Transit is making it a little easier for Monmouth Park Racetrack visitors to get to the track this summer.

NJ Transit will run a special weekend rail service on Saturday and Sundays and holidays, with the exception of July 4, starting on Saturday, May 13, through Sept. 10, according to the company's website.

Friday rail service begins on June 9 and runs through Aug. 25. The racetrack station is served by NJ Transits North Jersey Coast Line, according to an NJ Transit release.

The company is also offering a Monmouth Park package which will save customers $5.50. It includes a round-trip ticket to the racetrack from any NJ Transit rail station except Atlantic City stations.

Packages are also available for children, senior citizens and customers with disabilities. Tickets are valid on regularly scheduled trains on Fridays, weekends and holidays when the racetrack is open.

To receive the Grandstand Admission and an official track program, you must purchase your package from an NJ TRANSIT ticket vendingmachine (TVM) or ticket office. This package is not available from train crew personnel or with the NJ TRANSIT mobile app.
