Ocean Township Man Has Been Missing For A Year, Police Say

Russ DeRose's car was found in a York, Maine parking lot

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - It's been more than a year since anyone saw an Ocean Township man who was last spotted in the Wanamassa section of the township.

Russ DeRose, who was 59, disappeared on Nov. 7, 2016. His empty car was found in a York, Maine parking lot on Nov. 8, 2016. Maine police have said they did not suspect foul play in the case.

Anyone with information on Derose's whereabouts are asked to contact Ocean Township police's main number at 732-531-1800, according to a Nixle alert from the police department.

"At this point in the investigation, Ross has not been located," the alert states.
