Ocean Twp. Council Candidates Forum Oct. 9
Two women are running for Ocean Township Council this fall. Jacqui Wenzel and Gitta Kaplan will face off in an online forum Oct. 9.
OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — The League of Women Voters of Monmouth County will host a forum for the Ocean Township Council on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 p.m.
It will be a virtual forum via Zoom, but you must register in advance.
Visit bit.ly/forumocean to register. Questions may be submitted during the registration process or by email to lwvforum2024@gmail.com and putting “OceanTownship Council” in the subject line.

Who is running for Ocean Township Council in 2024: (Voters are asked to choose one)
- Gitta Kaplan - Ocean Township United
- Jacquelyn (Jacqui) Wenzel - Let Your Voice Be Heard!
They are running for a Councilmember-at-large seat, and both are registered independent.

A trained League moderator from outside the voting area will moderate the forum. The moderator does not live or vote in Ocean Township.
