Rook Coffee Hosting 1st Annual 5k Rook Run on November 8
On November 8, Rook Coffee and The Valerie Fund will host the 1st Annual 5k Rook Run in the Great Lawn section of the Long Branch boardwalk.
Registration opens on August 15, the cost is $35 and includes a Rook Run t-shirt and swag bag. Runners are encouraged to register in advance. Race day registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and increased rates will apply. Following the race, there will be a marketplace that is open to the public, which will include sponsors and vendors who will provide information, samples and products for sale.
Immediately following the market, Indulge Lounge and Food Bar will be hosting the race after-party with special pricing and promotions. Indulge is just steps away in Pier Village. Everyone is invited, so come by and engage with other runners and spectators!
Awards will be given to the top male/female overall, as well as in the following categories: under 14, 14-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+. The track is USATF certified and will be listed on many national registrars.
