3-Car Crash In Long Valley; Man Charged With DUI: Police
A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash near Rock Ridge Golf Course, police said.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — A 40-year-old Warren County man was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence after a three-car crash in Long Valley, authorities said.
According to the Washington Township Police Department, officers responded to the area near Rock Ridge Golf Course at about 3:12 p.m. on March 23, after getting a report about a motor vehicle crash.
Police say their investigation found the driver, a 40-year-old Vienna resident, appeared impaired. Officers detected the smell of alcohol, and the driver had difficulty maintaining his balance at the scene.

The driver was asked to undergo field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. He was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released without incident, pending his court appearance, authorities said.
