$7K Grant To Washington Twp. Eyed For Union School House Project
County may OK 32 grants for 19 towns in July.

Long Valley, N.J. – Some $2.7 million in county grants from the Preservation Trust Fund to help preserve, restore, or protect 32 historic sites in 19 Morris County towns is being eyed by the board of chosen freeholders.
On July 13, the governing body will look to give final approval to the list of projects, which include 18 construction items and 14 non-construction items. The projects were recommended by the Historic Preservation Trust Fund and range from $7,150 to $268,360 for a single grant.
If approved, Washington Township will receive $7,150 for the preservation of construction documents for the Union School House.
