LONG VALLEY, NJ — Old Farmers Road School students who are running in the school’s first “Color Run” this coming Saturday, are seeking donors to help them out.

Anitra Nesfeder, the Vice President of the school’s PTA, said 136 students are registered for Saturday’s run, which is typically a 5K, however, students instead will take as many laps as they’re able during one of two time slots at the event.

“We are raising funds to update the playground, basketball court, kickball field and add some 2-D blacktop games,” Nesfeder told Patch.

Donations for the fundraiser will benefit the school as a whole, not a particular class or student, she added.
