LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department has had a busy few weeks, with fake guns, terroristic threats, DWIs, and more. Here’s what it has been up to:
Fake Gun, Terroristic Threats
Washington Township police recently arrested a man for making threats with a fake gun, authorities said.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man from Brewster, New York after an altercation with another man. According to police, the 20-year-old threatened the man with an “imitation firearm.”
The New York man was charged with terroristic threats and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm and taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility to await court proceedings.

DWI
Police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Route 46.
When officers pulled over the suspect vehicle, the driver, a 22-year-old Paterson man, was found to be intoxicated, police said.
He was arrested, charged with multiple motor vehicle violations, and released pending a court appearance in Washington Township Municipal Court.
$12.5K In Warrants
Police pulled over another driver on Route 46 after noticing several equipment and safety violations, according to authorities.
The driver, 24, of Warren County, was found to have a $7,500 traffic warrant out of Bloomfield and a $5,000 criminal warrant out of Newark, police said.
The driver was issued several motor vehicle charges before being handed off to Bloomfield police.
