Fatal Accident Claims Lives of Mt. Olive Teens
Driver was scheduled to graduate from high school on Thursday.

A single-vehicle accident on Wolfe Road in Mount Olive resulted in the death of two teenagers, one who was scheduled to graduate from high school tomorrow.
Nicholas Novaky, 18, of Budd Lake, and Neil Solanki, 19, of Flanders, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Authorities responded to the accident at approximately 8:52 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Novaky, who was the driver of the car, was a senior at Mt. Olive High School and was scheduled to graduate on Thursday.

UPDATE: Prosecutor says speed was likely a factor in crash.
According to the prosecutorβs office, the accident occurred on Wolfe Road, a short distance south of Cassidy Road. The vehicle, a 1998 Dodge Durango, was traveling south on Wolfe Road and crossed over to the northbound lane. It then went off the roadway onto the northbound side and crashed into a large tree, according to the prosecutorβs office.

The Mount Olive Township Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutorβs Office Vehicular Homicide Unit, Morris County Sheriffβs Office Criminal Investigations Section, and the Morris County Medical Examinerβs Office responded to the accident.
The prosecutor's office said the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
