Injured Hiker Rescued From Hacklebarney State Park

LONG VALLEY, NJ — An injured hiker was rescued from Hacklebarney State Park over the weekend, the Long Valley First Aid Squad said.

The hiker was injured inside the park on Saturday, first responders said. Park maintenance personnel found the hiker about a mile into the park on the Eastern Red Trail.

First aid squad members stabilized the hiker and secured them to a stokes basket so they could be transported to Morristown Medical Center.
