Long Valley’s Knights Of Columbus Host Benefit Dinner, Auction
Long Valley's Knights of Columbus plans on its 30th yearly dinner and auction fundraising event on Dec. 4.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Live and silent auctions and a buffet dinner are part of the Knights of Columbus, Long Valley Council 10419, 30th yearly community dinner and benefit auction on Saturday, Dec. 4.
Starting at 6 p.m. at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church on 265 West Mill Road, the auction proceeds are expected to benefit Long Valley Council 10419’s charitable programs, according to a news release from the group. Among them are “food and clothing for the needy, assistance to seniors and veterans, educational scholarships and youth activities.

The silent auction kicks off at 6 p.m. with the live auction beginning at 8 p.m.
“The benefit is a wonderful evening out, featuring a live auction, a silent auction and a delicious buffet dinner courtesy of Valley Catering,” said John Hennessy, a spokesperson for the group.

“The auction features fabulous merchandise and terrific gifts for the holidays,” Hennessy also said, with all proceeds from the fundraiser “allocated to our mission of service.”
Among items up for auction are sports tickets, theater tickets, ski lift packages, dinners, jewelry, local services and much more.
With usually 200 people attending the event annually, tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, with wine and beer included with the dinner.
