Police Log: Recent Complaint Of Marijuana In Washington Township

Late Tuesday night, a Washington Police Department officer was patrolling Califon Park when he came upon a vehicle parked near a pond on Califon Road. Inside the vehicle, the officer found two individuals and recognized the distinct odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The officer arrested one of the individuals and issued to him a Criminal Complaints for Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. That individual was later released and given a mandatory court in Washington Township Municipal Court.
