Teachers Group Donates To Long Valley Families In Need Through Assistance Program
More than $3K donated to date.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Not only do they give to the students of the community, but to local families in need as well.
Members of the Washington Township Education Association, comprised of teachers, secretaries and custodians, recently presented a check to the Long Valley Community Assistance Program (LVCAP) to assist local families in need.
The Long Valley CAP assists some 70 area families on a regular basis with the food pantry and monetary donations for emergency purposes.

The WTEA chose to make their annual holiday donation to the LVCAP three years ago, and extra collections were held throughout the holiday season.
To date, the WTEA has donated $3,175 to the LVCAP.
