Fortune 500 Company Moving Headquarters Out Of Morris County

Quest Diagnostics will relocate after its lease ends in September 2017.

MADISON, N.J. – Fortune 500 company Quest Diagnostics will be moving its Madison-based headquarters to Secaucus, the company announced.

Quest, the world’s leading provider of diagnostic information services, will move when its lease ends in September 2017.

Additionally, the company will consolidate its corporate support functions in Lyndhurst with the new Secaucus headquarters. About 600 employees will work in the Secaucus location, the company said.

"This decision best serves our shareholders and employees," said Steve Rusckowski, president and CEO of Quest. "Our move to Secaucus allows us to retain our New Jersey employees while being in better proximity to public transportation and many of our major healthcare partners. Quest was named one of the 19 New Jersey companies on this year’s Fortune 500 list, having grossed $7.49 billion in its last fiscal year.
