Madison Police Reviving Neighborhood Watch Program
Burglaries, frauds and vehicle thefts are just some of the crimes that led to the decision to bring back the Madison Neighborhood Watch.
The Madison Police announced it will be reviving its Neighborhood Watch program after a recent series of crimes in the Rose City.
Recent residential burglaries, frauds and motor vehicle thefts in the town led to the decision to revive the program, Madison Police said in a Facebook post.
Madison Police said while the town is very safe, this recent rash of crime has proved it is not immune from crime. “In order to be effective, the police department needs community involvement,” Police Chief Darren Dachisen Sr. said. “The Neighborhood Watch program will be the eyes and ears of this community that will assist us with our mission of keeping Madison safe.”
