Police: Madison Man, 21, Caught With Weed In Florham Park

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.– A 21-year-old Madison man was arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in Florham Park on Oct. 7, police said.

At 1:03 p.m. on Oct. 7, Officer Daniel Bundschuh said he observed a vehicle pass him at a high rate of speed. After catching up with the vehicle, Bundschuh performed a traffic stop.

While speaking to the driver, Mateo L. Maduro, the officer said he detected the odor of marijuana.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Maduro was charged with: marijuana possession; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of CDS in a motor vehicle; careless driving; no liability insurance; failure to possess driver's license; failure to possess registration; and failure to change address.
