Bergen County Utilities Authority Holds Household Hazardous Waste Collection March 7

Bergen County residents can freely dispose of items such as aerosol cans, anti-freeze, batteries, fertilizer, disinfectants and more.

The Bergen County Utilities Authority will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on Saturday, March 7 in Moonachie.

Bergen County residents can freely dispose of items such as aerosol cans, anti-freeze, batteries, fertilizer, disinfectants and more. Unacceptable materials include explosives, containers larger than five gallons, computers, electronics and tires.

Residents will need to shower proper ID to participate in the free event, which will be held at the Bergen County Utilities Authority on Foot of Empire Blvd. in Moonachie between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. rain or shine.
