An Elmwood Park man was hit by two vehicles and died Thursday night in Elmwood Park, police there said.
Frank Pezza, 80, was crossing River Drive near Roosevelt Avenue just after 6:20 p.m. when he was struck by a car and another vehicle, said Chief Michael Foligno.
A preliminary investigation suggested that Pezza was crossing the street after he just got off a bus from New York City, the chief said. He was walking in the direction of his house.
