He then, police said, began to follow the woman who spotted him onto a state highway.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Bergen County man was seen performing a "lewd act" inside his car by a woman and her child, according to authorities.

Vincent Evelina, 25, was spotted by the woman, whose vehicle was parked next to his, at about 11 a.m. Sunday in a Fairfield parking lot, police officer Stacy Chiarolanza said. It is unclear what the alleged "lewd act" was.

Evelina then, after the woman drove off with her child, began to follow heronto Route 46 East, she told police. She eventually exited into the Willowbrook shopping center, where she found a Wayne police officer and reported what happened, Chiarolanza said.
