Bergenfield Man Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Girl
A Bergenfield man faces criminal sexual contact charges after a 16-year-old girl claims he grabbed her breasts.
BERGENFIELD, NJ — A 23-year-old Bergenfield man faces charges of criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, after a young girl filed a complaint-summons claiming the man grabbed her breasts and fled the area, Bergenfield police Sgt. William Duran said in a news release.
Police searched the area for the man, identified as Kristofer Rodriguez, after the 16-year-old girl, who was walking on Wilbur Road when the incident occurred, reported him, police said.
At around 7 p.m., police found and arrested Rodriguez near Melrose Avenue and Anderson Avenue and took him to police headquarters, police said.

Due to conditions set forth by New Jersey bail reform laws, Rodriguez was released from custody pending his first court appearance.
