Black Ice, Freezing Rain Cause 38-Car Pileup on NJ Turnpike

Black ice and freezing rain conditions caused a series of accidents on the New Jersey Turnpike in the Leonia area that involved as many as 38 cars.

News 12 reported the Turnpike accidents range from Bergen County all the way down to Delaware Memorial Bridge as motorists dealt with speed restrictions on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.
