Boy Has Wish Granted Through Make-A-Wish, American Dream
A 10-year-old Kansas boy has his wish granted through Make-A-Wish New Jersey and American Dream to visit a theme park and meet "PAW Patrol."

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — American Dream, the East Rutherford mall, partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey to make a 10-year-old's dream come true on Tuesday, the mall said in a news release.
Logan, who is battling a critical illness, visited the mall from Wamego, Kansas, with a wish to experience Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park and meet the cartoon heroes of the popular TV show "PAW Patrol," the mall said.
“We are thrilled to partner with Make-A-Wish New Jersey to make Logan’s dream come true," Melissa Howard, the mall's public relations director, said in an email to Patch. "We created this world-class destination to put a smile on kids’ faces, just like Logan, and are glad to have a partner like Make-A-Wish to grant wishes in our community and beyond.”

American Dream and Make-A-Wish New Jersey planned a day of activities for Logan and his family that included the theme park and the character meet-and-greet. Logan also got to experience the New Jersey SEA LIFE Aquarium, Angry Birds Mini Golf and DreamWorks Water Park, the mall added.
"We are grateful for our partnership with American Dream," Michael Dominick, assistant vice president of marketing and corporate alliances at Make-A-Wish New Jersey, said in an email to Patch. "Generous friends in the community that deliver life-changing wishes are important to our mission as we continue to reach more eligible children like Logan. A wish restores hope and joy for wish children when it is needed most, and, on Tuesday, Logan experienced the hope and joy of a wish come true.
