Expect Traffic Delays On Route 202 In Mahwah This Week: Officials

Road work on Route 202 from Darlington Avenue in Mahwah to the Oakland border is expected to cause traffic delays, officials said.

MAHWAH, NJ — Ramapo Valley Road (Route 202) will be closed in both directions from Darlington Avenue in Mahwah to the Oakland border from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, the borough of Oakland said on its website.

Motorists traveling on Route 202 from Oakland to Mahwah are advised to use the detour in place of Yawpo Avenue, McCoy Road, Colonial Road, Franklin Avenue, to Campgaw Road, due to anticipated road work on Franklin Avenue in the near future.

Traffic delays are expected, the borough said.
