Fundraiser Seeks To Help Mahwah HS Football Team Gear Up

MAHWAH, NJ – An online fundraiser drive is underway to help the Mahwah High School football team suit up for the 2019 season.

The effort seeks to raise $6,500 for equipment upgrades, team meals and other gear.

Chris Diaz, Mahwah’s head football coach and fundraiser organizer, wrote, "Your support will help us offer a higher quality experience for all participants. Raising dollars for extra curricular activities is very difficult to do but is vital for our program."

In 2018, the Thunderbirds had a 5-4 overall record and a 4-2 record within their division.
