Tow Company Owner Zapped, Spat On By Angry Car Owner: Little Ferry PD

Leon Henry, who said he was in the area looking for a pizza job, spat on and zapped a tow company owner with a stun gun, officials said.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — The owner of a car with a bullet hole and a blacked-out license plate attacked the tow company owner who wouldn't give it back, police announced Wednesday.

Leon Henry, 29, saw his Dodge Challenger taken away Monday, after cops pulled him over on Route 46 and found a long knife and a 9mm round in the car, Little Ferry police Chief James Walters said.

The North Carolina man told police he was in Bergen County looking for work at a pizza shop, said police.

Henry was issued several motor vehicle summonses, and his car was towed away by A&D Towing and Recovery in Little Ferry, police said.

The next day, Henry went to pick up his car (without a release from police), and began arguing with the owner of A&D Towing and Recovery, said officials.

Henry spat upon the owner and zapped with a stun gun, police said. Whether Henry owned two stun guns, or the first had been returned to him, remains unclear.

The angry driver ran off but responding officers caught him once again, according to a second investigation report.

Henry faces charges of possession of a fictitious plate, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failing to exhibit a window tint medical exemption for Monday's encounter with law enforcement, officials said.

Charges of aggravated assault, burglary, criminal trespassing and unlawful possession of a weapon were added Tuesday, officials said.

Henry was then taken to the Bergen County Jail, police said.
