Mahwah GSNNJ Troop #6000 Explores Boiling Spring Savings Bank

The Troop learned how to detect counterfeit bills by placing bills under a black light and how to use the currency counter to count cash.

Mahwah’s GSNNJ Daisy Troop #6000 discovered what happens inside a branch on Jan. 21 when they visited the Wyckoff Boiling Springs Savings Bank branch located at 319 Franklin Avenue in the Boulder Run Shopping Center.

The Troop was able to tour the entire branch, including the teller area, where they learned how to detect counterfeit bills by placing bills under a black light, how to use the currency counter to count cash and observed how the coin counting machine operates.

The Troop also had a Q and A session with Wyckoff Branch Manager Penny Budesa and staff.

After the tour was completed, Boiling Springs presented gift bags to the Troop for them to bring home.
