Mahwah High Students To Host Clothing, Shoe Drive Fundraiser

MAHWAH, NJ — Do you need to rid your closets of old shoes or clothes you hardly wear anymore? If you said "yes," students at Mahwah High School will be glad to take them off your hands.

You can help the Class of 2022 at MHS raise funds for its upcoming gala by cleaning out your closets, attics, garages and basements.

Once you've gathered all the items you no longer want, simply place them in tightly tied bags.

"Every bag counts. Give your items a second chance to be worn/used again. The more our collection weighs, the more we raise. Thank you for your support," event organizers said in a flyer.

Gently used items will be accepted Saturday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mahwah High School, which is at 50 Ridge Rd.

• Uniforms

• Backpacks
• New Diapers

Monetary donations are also accepted for the students' 2022 gala. The money can be sent via Venvo to Mahwah High School @Mahwah-HighSchool. Be sure to note that it's for the 2022 gala.
