Mahwah Man, 32, Killed In New York Car Crash: Police

A township man was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car crash in Monroe Tuesday morning, authorities said.

MAHWAH, NJ - A 32-year-old Mahwah man was killed in a car crash Tuesday morning in New York, according to authorities.

Around 7:20 a.m., state troopers were called to School Road in Monroe after receiving a report of a two-car crash, New York State police said.

Further investigation revealed that Patrick Early, a 67-year-old from Warwick, NY, was driving his 2013 Acura TL west on School Road when he collided with a 1996 Toyota Avalon operated by Joseph Farina, police said.

Farina was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, authorities said.

Police said they are continuing to investigate and additional information was not immediately available late Tuesday afternoon.
