Mahwah Paddle Day Cancelled, Rescheduled To Aug. 1
The event was cancelled as stifling temperatures continue to blanket North Jersey.
MAHWAH, NJ — Paddle Day has been cancelled and rescheduled — again.
The event was cancelled amid stifling temperatures that have been, and will continue to, blanket North Jersey into the weekend.
Paddle Day is now Aug. 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Lake Henry, in the back of Continental Solider's Park. Canoes, kayaks, and life jackets will be provided for free.

Participants need to bring proof of residency to participate in the program.
It is the second time Paddle Day has been cancelled due to the weather. It was originally supposed to happen July 11, but was rescheduled to Thursday because of thunderstorms in the forecast.
