Mahwah Public Schools to Have Delayed Opening Monday
The delayed opening comes after the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain, sleet and snow.

Mahwah Public Schools will follow a two hour delayed opening schedule on Monday, Feb. 9 after the National Weather Service issued a ”Winter Weather Advisory” for freezing rain, sleet and snow that’s in effect from Monday at 6 a.m. to Tuesday at 6 a.m.
A wintry hazardous mix of ice and some snow is expected to hit the northern Mid Atlantic states - such as New Jersey and Pennsylvania - through Monday night.
The worst could happen at 10 p.m. Monday, where almost the entire state is expected to either have snow or some wintry mix.
