The Mahwah Recreation Department released the following information about the township's 25th annual Fishing Contest:
Mahwah Recreation’s 25th Annual Fishing Contest will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. This family favorite is held at Silver Creek Pond, located at the intersection of Airmont Ave, and Airmount Road.
The contest is open to residents and proof of residency will be required at registration. Catch and Release only!
Prizes will be awarded to contestants ages 5 through 13 based on size of fish caught and amount of fish caught. We promise, it will be a reel good time for the whole family. Rain or Shine.
