Location Changed For Mahwah Veterans Day Ceremony Due To Weather
Mahwah's Veterans Day ceremony will be held the 11th hour of the 11th day. Find out more below.
MAHWAH, NJ — A Veterans Day service will be held this Tuesday in Mahwah, the town announced.
The town announced late on Monday that rather than be held at Veterans Park, the ceremony will be held indoors due to the predicted cold weather and wind.
The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at the Mahwah Senior Center.

"Please join us as we honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country," said the Recreation Department. "All are welcome to attend."
Veterans Day is held on Nov. 11 each year to observe when the fighting in World War I ended, at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. The holiday began as Armistice Day but was revised in 1954 to honor all U.S. veterans.
