Man Found Shot On Bogota Front Lawn Dies: Prosecutor
A 28-year-old man died after he was shot early Wednesday morning.
Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Bogota early Wednesday morning.
The Bogota Police Department received a 911 call of shots fired outside of Buddy's Bar on East Fort Lee Road at 1:43 a.m., said acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo.
Responding officers found a 28-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound on the front lawn of a nearby house on Leonia Avenue, Calo said. Police from Bogota, Teaneck, and Ridgefield Park Police responded to the scene.

The man was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Calo said.
The suspects fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing and more will be released at a later time.
