Names Of Bergen Priests Accused Of Sex Abuse Disclosed
The men were among 100 more priests and clergy with New Jersey ties whose names were released in a new disclosure recently.
The names of several priests who served in Bergen County were included in a list of more than 100 clergy who have been accused of sexual abuse.
Brother John H. Dagwell pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 15-year-old student in 1986 while teaching at the Montvale Parochial School. He was sentenced to probation and was transferred to Massachusetts. From 1989 to 1992, Dagwell worked at St. Francis House, a shelter in Boston until residents complained of unwanted hugging and kissing. He resigned from that position as well.
Brother George Donnelly, worked at St. Joseph's Regional High School in Montvale prior to 1984.

Rev. Dominic Yusuf was hired in 2002 to work at St. Francis of Assisi in Ridgefield. He worked there for about two months. His whereabouts and whether he has access to children are unknown.
Other members of the list have ties to Teaneck, Ramsey, and Wayne, according to the list.

The law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates released a report containing the names and histories of more than 300 people accused of sexual misconduct in the Archdiocese of Newark, Diocese of Camden, Diocese of Metuchen, Diocese of Paterson and Diocese of Trenton.
Patch only identified those who were formally accused by law enforcement, Jesuits or the Catholic church of sexual abuse. Patch is also only listing names not previously disclosed.
Nearly 200 names on the new clergy list were already named by the Catholic church earlier this year. The new disclosure contains more than 100 names of people that were not previously released.
