TOMS RIVER, NJ - A sinkhole on the New Jersey Turnpike in Bergen County has prompted commuting delays in the area Thursday morning, authorities said.

As of Wednesday at 2:11 p.m., there’s a sinkhole on the New Jersey Turnpike - Western Spur northbound exiting at Vince Lombardi Service Area in Ridgefield Park, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder is closed for repairs until further notice, the agency said.
