One Woman Dead In Ridgewood Fire: Police
A fire at a senior apartment building in Ridgewood left a 72-year-old woman dead.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A 72-year-old woman died in a fire at a senior apartment building on Saturday night in Ridgewood, the Ridgewood Police Department said in a press release.
Officers found Denise Dillion dead in a Ridgecrest Apartments unit after crews put out the fire, which was contained to a single apartment, police said. Police believe the fire started accidentally.
First responders evacuated the building, and all residents were able to return to their apartments at the end of the evening, police said.
