Part Of Mahwah Post Office Closes Due To Roof Leaks
No mail was damaged and no timetable has been set for the retail portion of the post office to reopen, U.S. postal officials said.

MAHWAH, NJ — The retail portion of the U.S. Post Office on East Ramapo Avenue has closed due to the roof leaking, postal officials announced Thursday.
The temporary closure began at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, said George Flood, a U.S. Postal Service spokesperson.
No mail was damaged as a result of the roof leaks and no timetable has been for the retail portion of the post office to reopen, Flood said.

Mail delivery to residents' homes will continue. Customers may also pick up their mail at the Mahwah Carrier Annex at 46 Industrial Ave., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Flood said.

- Ramsey, 175 East Main St., Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Saddle River, 177 East Saddle River Road, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stamp booklets can be purchased at CVS and ACME on Franklin Turnpike.
