A team led by Mahwah Councilman Jim Wysocki took home top prizes in the competition, which featured more than 60 players, according to Mahwah Museum President Cathy Moran Hajo.
Just a few of the competition questions included: the name of the first person to start a trading post, the year Mahwah separated from Ho-Ho-Kus and became its own township and the original location of the library.
