BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Holy smokes, that's a (half-) ton of weed!

More than 1,000 pounds of marijuana and 50 pounds of THC edibles were seized in a major Bergen County bust earlier this week, according to authorities.

The jumbo-sized amount of marijuana was found in a search of four vehicles and two storage facilities, one in Fort Lee and another in Jersey City, authorities said.

Five New York men were arrested in connection with the 1,100 pounds of cannabis and the edibles recovered, and charged with drug distribution offenses, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Identified as Jingru Chen, 29; Fenglei Fan, 35; Lifan Feng, 21; Xingxiang Gao, 27; and Weiqi Wu, 25, each of the five men were arrested and remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an initial court appearance, Musella added.
