Snow Possible, Little Accumulation Likely

While rumors started to spread last week about a snowstorm heading toward the northeast, weather predictions Monday morning were not calling for a major snow event in Mahwah.

According to the National Weather Service, most of the day Monday will be clear with a high of 52 degrees and a chance of rain before 5 a.m. Tuesday.

After 5 a.m., there is a chance of rain or snow, but “little to no accumulation” is expected, the NWS predicted.

The chance of precipitation is 50%.

The forecast for the rest of the week looks clear, with temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
