T-Birds Will Defend State Title in Saturday Championship
The Mahwah Varsity Baseball team will take on the Cinnaminson Pirates in the Group 2 State Finals.

In 2012, the Mahwah Thunderbirds Baseball team made history when it won the district’s first-ever state championship. This weekend, the team will have the chance to do it again.
According to a report from NorthJersey.com, the T-Birds beat Lyndhurst 8-3 in the state semi-finals game Tuesday.
The keys to winning the game, the report said, were good hitting, putting the ball in play, and taking advantage of Lyndhurst errors.
