Teen Accused Of Stalking Ramapo College Student, Rape: Court Records
A 19-year-old stands accused of stalking a Ramapo College student, court records show.
MAHWAH, NJ — A New York teen recently charged with rape in his home state now stands accused of stalking a Ramapo College student in Bergen County, officials said.
Jon Pelcin, 19, was charged with stalking Monday in Mahwah's municipal court less than a week after an arrest in New York linked him to the sexual assault of a minor, according to court records and reports.
The criminal complaint, signed by Mahwah Detective Lt. Kevin Herbert, contends Pelcin followed a Ramapo College student — who was "in fear of death or bodily injury" — across campus.

Pelcin also tried to follow her into her dorm, according to the complaint.
The Monroe teen was transferred to Bergen County Jail from the Orange County jail where he'd been held on a rape charge filed in Middletown Court, police said.
New York prosecutors accused Pelcin of sexually abusing a minor for years, according to a local report.
