Tractor-Trailer Jack-Knifes in Snow-Covered I-287
Mahwah Police Chief James Batelli said the tractor-trailer was removed without incident and there were no injuries.

Lanes were blocked on Interstate 287 after a tractor-trailer jack-knifed near Exit 66 this morning, according to New Jersey State Police.
Mahwah Police Chief James Batelli said there were no injuries and the tractor-trailer was removed without incident, but there have been “several incidents of vehicles sliding off the roadway.”
“Conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the day as the snow continues and the temperatures fall,” Chief Batelli said. “Roadways are snow covered and motorists should exercise caution if they have to go out.“
