True Food Kitchen Opening At The Shops At Riverside In Hackensack
The restaurant's menu was created around an anti-inflammatory diet and features a lot of vegetarian and vegan dishes.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — True Food Kitchen is opening a restaurant at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, as part of the center's changing into a luxury shopping and dining destination.
The restaurant will feature a menu designed around anti-inflammatory diet with in-season produce, margaritas made with organic tequila, and a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes.
"True Food Kitchen is more than a restaurant, we're a way of thinking, a way of life," said Taylor Domet, True Food Kitchen's director of culinary services. "Our guests are very conscious about what they want to put into their bodies and what's important to us is taking what they want to eat and making it healthy and making it taste good at the same time."

It will be the first New Jersey location for the Arizona-based True Food Kitchen.
"We’re a brand that is as passionate about our food as we are the local community, so we look forward to sharing our mission to 'eat better, feel better and celebrate a passion for better living' with residents and visitors of Hackensack," said Shannon Keller, chief marketing officer of True Food Kitchen.

The restaurant is slated to open in the spring of 2020 alongside recently-announced LT Bar & Grill as part of the third and final phase of The Shops at Riverside's renovation.
The Shops at Riverside has a Bloomingdale's, Barnes & Noble, an AMC dine-in theater, and luxury retailers including, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Tory Burch.
